My very first fractal render.

As you can see by the caption (I hope you can), this was the very first fractal render that came out of the wonderful program Apophysis. Their software is free and is somewhere on Sourceforge. Google is your friend here if you want to find it. I have about barely over a hundred of these in a self-organized library. Each and every single one of them a render I created. I prefer creating dramatic fractals using the Apophysis 3D hack but the default Apophysis can create some abstract features harder to obtain in the 3D hack.

Why I wrote about this was my love for the eccentric and abstract things in life. This being one of them. For some odd reason, I feel myself being expressed through these digitally calculated pixels that mesh up together to form this really nice fractal. Though, fractal art is viewed differently and that there are more really spectacularly talented fractal makers out there, I’m content with the simplicity I have in mine. If you see it as simple that is (it’s quite relative, right).

I had stopped this hobby of mine somewhere nearing the last quarter of 2009. So that I could start for the streaming examinations that would help me in getting the option of going to any streams I desire. Now in 2010, I’ve ended up in the “Triple Pure Sciences” stream. Which is quite a stress hazard I admit. Well, after I stumbled across the archive of self-rendered fractal art library on my hard drive, I decided I’d give it a go again. Would be nice trying to manipulate numbers. Especially if they produce exceptional, graphical results! There is another random fractal I uploaded below, enjoy!

The mass of mobos!

Other than what you see in the photo, there was a computer tower with a permanently fixed motherboard that contained an Intel processor chip, whoopie! Anyway, not sure if you can see it but there are about 6 boxes of motherboards and graphics cards stacked up together with the best 3 ones outside and displayed for all their glory. There was a RAM stick, a CPU fan and a hard drive (it was 20GB, not much to put in it), not to mention all those spare wiring.

Well, whoever this fellow was, didn’t dispose them responsibly. However, at least it let me get a few good finds. I think, “one man’s trash, is another man’s treasure”, applies here. When I have the time I’ll hook each of em’ up to a PSU with that spare Intel processor and fire away! Now, I already have 3 desktops and one laptop. Now with all of these, I’d be able to host a LAN cybercafe in my own house!

Grandfather's Obituary Letter printed in the "Berita Harian" same day as this post.

Well as it turns on, previous, before the Windows DANamic blog was started, my grandfather recently passed away, last Wednesday of this post. He was a great man, with 8 children and a vast number of grandchildren. It was a sad moment that he gave in to his advanced colon cancer finally at 10.45PM on that faithful night. I hope he’ll rest in peace.

On another unrelated part of this post, I updated my Facebook profile picture. Haven’t done so in 2 months have I? So yea there it is below. Taken from my iPhone. Don’t ask why. Anyway, I had a Biology make-up lesson today, since i missed the initial one to attend my grandfather’s ceremony. It was quite fun, handling microscopes isn’t exactly new to me since I played with them in primary school and I already have a science kit at home. Ah, tomorrow will be the first lesson for mother tongue extra lessons. Well let’s do this I guess.

I’m just your typical boy. Hyper and really, really annoying. I go mad at the most random and sometimes, unnecessary times. I have different reactions to every action. Be nice and I’ll play with you, be horrible, well death isn’t the worst. I have the capability to do anything, if my brain permits it I guess. I can be extremely lazy and extremely proactive. Bribing me with cookies might be one way to motivate me. I’m quite academically conscious, but I’d rather be doing something tied with the computer or any electronic device for that matter. PC, Mac, IPhone, you name it! I’m an avid gamer but I mostly enjoy Granado Espada. I like to lead, but things people put me through can drive me insane. My insanity is far worse then my hyper-random-moments. Other then that, I’m peaceful and friendly, but I do have enemies. They just don’t know it yet!
